Pigeons

I'm knuckling to a bit of pigeon R&D!

They are going to be dusted off and made a bit more glamorous for a trip to Liberty's 'Best of British Open call' in February and and to pose in the Craft Central window display, to advertise the 'Craft London:Emerging New Talent' exhibition I am involved in in March.

I made them originally as part of an installation for the City of London Festival's 'Drop by studio'. An alfresco art space in a city square where the local community, anything from school children to city workers, were encouraged to join in.

New works

After spending some dedicated time in the studio in Ireland at the end of last year, photographing, drawing and dyeing. I have finished a selection of wall hung pieces.
